Frequently asked questions
-
Browse jobs in your Feed, click on a role to view details, then click "Apply via JobSpring" to submit your profile and resume directly. Some jobs use email or external links instead. You can track all your applications in the Applications tab.
-
Match scores are calculated based on your skills, experience level, location preferences, and salary expectations compared to job requirements. A higher score means a stronger alignment. You can see a full breakdown by clicking the "Match" button on any job listing.
-
Auto Fill automatically submits applications to jobs that match your saved search criteria. You can set a daily limit, choose which resume and cover letter to use, exclude specific companies, and optionally review each application before it's sent. Configure it in the Applications tab under Auto Fill.
-
Go to Applications and use the Tracker tab. You can view your pipeline in three modes: Cards, Board (kanban), or Table. Applications move through stages: Saved, Applied, Reviewing, Interview, Offer, and Archived. You can also add applications you submitted outside of JobSpring using the "+ Add application" button.
-
Job Companion is a Chrome extension that helps you apply to jobs on any website. It auto-fills application forms with your saved answers, tracks which jobs you've visited, and can import job details into your JobSpring tracker. Install it from the Chrome Web Store.
-
Your Profile page shows a strength percentage with categorized items: Critical, Important, and Recommended. Complete your professional title, upload a resume, add work history and skills, and fill in your location and preferences. A stronger profile appears in more recruiter searches and gets higher match scores.
-
Yes. In your application tracker, click on the application card and use the "Withdraw" button. For applications submitted through JobSpring, the recruiter will be notified. For external applications, withdrawal is tracked locally for your records only.
