Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of user-facing features for our next-generation hiring platform. You will work closely with product designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to ship polished, performant interfaces that help thousands of recruiters and job seekers connect every day.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement complex, interactive UI components using React and TypeScript in a monorepo environment
• Drive frontend performance improvements including bundle optimization, code-splitting, and Core Web Vitals targets
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma specs into pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming sessions, and technical design discussions
• Own the CI/CD pipeline for the frontend, including automated testing, preview deployments, and release management

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of modern CSS (Grid, Flexbox, custom properties) and responsive design patterns
• Experience with GraphQL clients (Apollo or urql) and RESTful API integration
• Proven track record of improving frontend performance and maintaining high Lighthouse scores
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Vitest, Playwright, or Cypress) and a test-driven development mindset
