Welcome to JobSpring. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JobSpring website, applications, Chrome extension, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, installing our extension, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use JobSpring. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
- Not create multiple accounts or share your account with others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.
3. Description of Service
JobSpring is a job discovery and application management platform that provides:
- Job aggregation: We collect and display publicly available job listings from employer career pages, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and user-contributed sources
- Professional profiles: Job seekers can create profiles to showcase their skills and experience to recruiters
- Application tools: Tools to search, filter, save, and track job applications
- Chrome extension: A browser extension ("Job Companion") that assists with job discovery and application form auto-fill
- Recruiter tools: Features for employers and recruiters to post jobs and discover candidates
4. Job Listings and Content Aggregation
4.1 Sources of Job Listings
JobSpring aggregates job listings from multiple sources, including publicly accessible employer career pages, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and listings contributed by users through our peer-to-peer system. We always endeavor to link back to the original source.
4.2 No Verification Guarantee
We do not independently verify that:
- Job listings are accurate, current, complete, or comply with applicable employment laws
- Job posters are legitimate employers or authorized recruiters
- Salary ranges, requirements, benefits, or other listing details are correct
- Positions described in listings are currently open or available
Users should verify job details directly with the employer before applying, sharing personal information, or making decisions based on listing content.
4.3 Third-Party Content
Job listings and company information displayed on JobSpring may originate from third-party sources. We do not claim ownership of third-party content and are not responsible for its accuracy or legality. If you believe any content is inaccurate, misleading, or infringes your rights, please submit a content removal request.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post false, misleading, discriminatory, or fraudulent job listings or profile information
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users
- Scrape, collect, or harvest user personal data without their consent
- Transmit spam, phishing attempts, viruses, or malicious code
- Impersonate another person, company, or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service
- Use automated means to access the Service except through our provided extension and APIs
- Post job listings that require applicants to pay fees or make purchases as a condition of employment
Recruiters and employers are solely responsible for ensuring their job listings comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and wage laws in the jurisdictions where they recruit.
6. No Employment Guarantee
JobSpring is a job discovery and application management tool. We do not guarantee:
- That any job listing is accurate, current, or legitimate
- That your applications will be received, reviewed, or responded to by employers
- That you will receive interviews, offers, or employment
- That salary, benefits, or other compensation details are accurate
- Any particular outcome from using the Service
All hiring decisions are made solely by employers and recruiters. JobSpring has no role in the hiring process beyond providing discovery and application tools.
7. Chrome Extension (Job Companion)
By installing and using the JobSpring Chrome extension, you agree that:
- You grant JobSpring permission to read job listing data from recognized job board pages you visit
- Job listings detected by the extension may be shared with the JobSpring community through the peer-to-peer system (Section 8) unless you disable P2P sharing in extension settings
- P2P sharing is enabled by default when the extension is installed. This is disclosed during the onboarding flow. You may disable it at any time
- The auto-fill feature uses your saved answers to populate application form fields. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying auto-filled information before submission
- The extension does not submit applications on your behalf. All form submissions require your explicit action
- The extension may receive automatic updates through the Chrome Web Store
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of the extension complies with any terms of service of the websites you visit
- You may uninstall the extension at any time without affecting your JobSpring account
8. Peer-to-Peer Job Sharing
JobSpring operates a peer-to-peer system where job listing metadata collected by users' Chrome extensions is shared with the community. By using the extension with P2P sharing enabled:
- You acknowledge that job listings you encounter may be contributed to a shared pool accessible by other JobSpring users
- You understand that listings shared by other users may not be verified, accurate, or current
- JobSpring is not liable for the accuracy, legality, or availability of job listings contributed through the P2P system
- You may opt out of P2P sharing at any time through extension settings
- Your identity is never attached to contributed listings — other users cannot see who contributed a specific job
If you encounter a listing that appears fraudulent, misleading, or harmful, report it through the platform. We will review reports and take reasonable steps to remove problematic content.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service ("User Content"), including profile information, resumes, cover letters, and application responses. By submitting User Content, you grant JobSpring a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display it solely in connection with providing the Service.
You represent that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to your User Content
- Your User Content does not infringe the rights of any third party
- Your User Content does not violate any applicable laws
- Your User Content is accurate and not misleading
We may remove User Content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful, without prior notice.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content and third-party job listings), features, and functionality are owned by JobSpring and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission.

- Your physical or electronic signature
We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly and may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
11.3 Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to legal@jobspring.pro with the information required by the DMCA. We will process counter-notices in accordance with applicable law.
11.4 Repeat Infringers
We may terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
- We may delete your User Content, though we are not obligated to do so
- Provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20) will continue to apply
